  Advisory Board
The ProQuest K-12 Advisory Board brings experienced library professionals from the community together to help evaluate and enhance our core products.

Our board brings experienced library professionals representing statewide consortia, universities, community colleges, public libraries and schools throughout the country together to evaluate and enhance ProQuests' popular educational resources. The board provides us with valuable feedback regarding the functionality, performance and level of user satisfaction with its online products.

The objective of the board is to provide independent wisdom and insight to the guiding staff-members at ProQuest regarding the issues which are most prevalent for today's educators. At board meetings, members review our content, graphical presentation, and administrative functions, and study unique ways our resources have been successfully used in online research. In addition, participants discuss online database trends and the current diverse information needs of schools, institutions, and libraries. Meetings are attended by key members of our sales, editorial, and technical development staff. Meetings are held periodically throughout the year, with continual dialog facilitated by an active mailing list.

Our board serves as a liaison between our customers and our staff, while acting as a driving force for future development of content and products. Composed of eminent educators, library resource managers, and administrators, the diverse membership of the board provides a wide spectrum of perspectives relevant to our customer base.
